Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess the ability to communicate effectively with students of various ages and backgrounds. This role involves providing tailored educational support to enhance students' learning experiences, particularly in subjects where they may require additional assistance. Experience in special education is a plus, as we aim to cater to diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in designated subjects. Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to create personalised learning plans. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student needs. Communicate progress and challenges to parents or guardians regularly. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students. Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles, including those of students with special educational needs. Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements. Teaching English and Maths (Science desirable but not essential)

Experience

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children, is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with students and parents. Familiarity with special education practices is advantageous but not mandatory. A passion for educating and inspiring young learners is crucial for success in this role. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within an educational setting.
