Arka Learning's mission is to deliver outstanding educational programs that are accessible to families while bringing the joy of learning to children. Arka delivers Maths and English programmes for children aged 6 to 12. We are looking for passionate, dedicated part-time English and Maths Tutors to join our team and help children develop a lifelong love for learning.
About the Role:
This is a part-time, flexible role, perfect for individuals looking to balance tutoring with other commitments. We operate after school and on weekends, offering flexible schedules to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Maths and English for primary-aged students.
Personalise learning to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring that they progress at their own pace.
Create a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel confident and inspired to learn.
Track student achievements, providing feedback to help them improve.
Collaborate with fellow tutors and support staff to maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
What We're Looking For:
A passion for education and a love for working with children.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
At least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4-9 (C-A), including English and Maths. Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus, but not essential--training will be provided.
A positive, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.

Hourly rates start at the following levels, with higher rates available dependent on experience: Under 18: 8.00 / 18-20: 10.50 / 21+: 12.50

Proof of qualifications
Enhanced DBS with barred list check
