Local placements & flexible hours. We meet families prior to placement, so you will have full information about the student and their home. Access to our live job board - a constantly updated listing of current opportunities. Your choice of students, based on criteria that are important to you: level, location, time slot and subject. We take care of admin, billing and renewals to help you focus on just the tutoring. Ongoing support from our own tutoring system which gives access to education resources.

Your Responsibilities

Delivering 1:1 tutoring, at the student's home (generally evenings and weekends). Please apply only if you are prepared to do this. Preparing and delivering tutoring sessions to best meet your student's academic needs and goals. Clarifying and teaching subject matter. Assessing student's knowledge on a regular basis.

Your Qualifications and Skills

Educated to degree level but you don't necessarily need to be a qualified teacher, however experience in tutoring is preferred. Understanding of safeguarding procedures is essential. Having reliable transport to tutoring sessions is essential.
All successful Tutor Doctor applicants will undergo a full reference check and will need to hold an Enhanced DBS. We can facilitate the placement of your Enhanced DBS order, if necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-23.00 per hour
