Role Overview

As a Tutor, you will:

Teach

Maths, English, and/or Science

to Primary and Secondary learners (up to GCSE) Deliver engaging, structured lessons in small groups Adapt teaching to meet individual learner needs Track progress and provide constructive feedback to parents Use our ready-made resources to reduce planning time

Duties

Plan and deliver personalised sessions in your specialist subject(s) Assess learners' starting points and monitor progress Complete registers and brief progress reports Create a safe, positive, and inspiring learning environment Contribute to learners' confidence and long-term success

Essential Criteria

Degree-level education (essential) Strong subject knowledge in

Maths, English and/or Science (up to GCSE level)

Minimum 2 years' experience teaching or tutoring young people Professional, reliable, and well-organised Eligible to work in the UK

Desirable (not essential):

QTS or recognised teaching qualification Enhanced DBS check Previous tutoring centre/classroom teaching experience
