Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Cheadle - September 2025 Start - 89.38 to 100 per day

A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Cheadle, Stockport is looking for a full-time Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate seeking hands-on experience in education ahead of a PGCE, teacher training or educational psychology pathway.
About the Role:
Work closely with Maths teachers to support students across Key Stage 3 and 4
Deliver 1:1 and small group intervention sessions, focusing on building numeracy, confidence, and problem-solving skills
Assist with in-class support, exam preparation, and tailored learning for students who need extra guidance
Help plan engaging and accessible resources under teacher guidance
Track pupil progress and adapt support strategies accordingly
Key Details:
Location: Cheadle, Stockport
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full academic year (with possibility of permanent teacher training route)
Pay: 89.38 - 100 per day (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 3:15pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
