Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in mathematics tailored to students' age and skill levels. Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to evaluate student progress. Provide individualized support and tutoring to help students overcome challenges in understanding mathematical concepts. Monitor student performance, maintain accurate records of attendance and progress, and communicate regularly with students and parents/guardians. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Stay updated on the latest teaching methods and curriculum standards related to mathematics education. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to curriculum development.

Skills

Strong proficiency in mathematics with the ability to teach a range of topics effectively. Prior experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics is preferred; university experience is highly valued. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs. Organized with strong planning skills to develop comprehensive lesson plans and assessments. Passionate about education and dedicated to student success.
