Maths Learning Coach

37.5 hours per week plus 30 minutes unpaid lunch break

38 weeks per year plus 5 INSET Days

Grade F (Actual salary - 24,792)

Required - September 2022

We are seeking to appoint a Maths Coach to join our amazing staff team at St Cuthbert Mayne School.

The purpose of this role is to support students to achieve at least a strong pass in Maths at GCSE so they can take the next step in their education, employment and training and live life in all its fullness.

We are looking for someone who:

A well qualified Mathematician A knowledge and understanding of the topics taught at KS3 and KS4 Maths Is able to generate a sense of confidence and enthusiasm for Maths Building strong relationships with students and their families Working as part of a team Effective communication

This post would be suitable for a maths graduate who may want to explore a career in teaching or a maths student who has just completed KS5 and is taking a gap year. This role is offered initially on a 1 year fixed term contract until 31st August 2026.
