About the role:
justteachers Teaching Agency is seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Calderdale.
This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for an enthusiastic educator committed to delivering high-quality mathematics education and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. This assignment is due to start September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students of varying abilities. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth. Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities. Participate actively in departmental meetings, parent consultations, and professional development opportunities. Support and contribute to the school's extra-curricular activities and enrichment programs.
Pre-requisites:
To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Have a proven track record of teaching Maths at secondary level. Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Two education or school based references.
