We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational institution. Experience in special education or tutoring is highly valued.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Teach mathematics concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced topics, ensuring clarity and comprehension.
Utilise effective behaviour management techniques to maintain a conducive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to students who require additional support.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience within the school.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching methodologies and curriculum changes.
Incorporate relevant scientific research and laboratory experience into lessons where applicable, particularly for students interested in biochemistry.
Requirements
A degree in Mathematics with teaching qualifications.(qts)
Proven experience in teaching mathematics at various levels, demonstrating effective communication skills.
Strong mentoring abilities with a focus on fostering student development.
Familiarity with behaviour management strategies and special education practices is advantageous.
Excellent proofreading skills to ensure all instructional materials are clear and free from errors.
A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students in their academic pursuits.
