About the role
Heart of Supply is seeking passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teachers to support our partner secondary schools across Lincoln. We're keen to connect with Maths teaching specialists who can make numbers meaningful, problem-solving exciting and mathematics accessible to every learner.
Whether you're an experienced Maths Teacher or an ECT looking to build your classroom experience, we have a variety of Maths teaching opportunities to suit your skills, availability and career goals. You'll be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students gain confidence in their mathematical thinking and preparing them for GCSE success.
As a Maths Teacher with Heart of Supply, you'll bring energy, clarity and creativity to your lessons, helping students understand key mathematical concepts, develop reasoning skills and see the real-world value of maths. You'll play an important role in promoting a positive attitude toward learning and achievement.
We offer genuine flexibility, whether you're seeking day-to-day Maths supply work, regular part-time Maths teaching, or a long-term Maths Teacher placement, we'll work closely with you to match opportunities to your strengths and preferences.

What you will need
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent UK secondary classroom experience teaching Maths
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, with the ability to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
A confident, structured, and positive approach to behaviour management and classroom engagement
The ability to build quick, supportive relationships with students and colleagues, promoting enjoyment and achievement in Maths
A proactive, adaptable attitude and a genuine passion for Maths teaching, encouraging learners to think critically and problem-solve effectively
A minimum of 6 weeks' UK teaching experience (including placements)
