Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in their academic growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of mathematical concepts, and the ability to engage students effectively.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles. Teach mathematics concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced topics, ensuring comprehension and retention. Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to students who require additional support in mathematics. Assess student progress through regular testing and assignments, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour for reporting purposes.

Requirements

Proven experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics at the secondary level or equivalent experience in tutoring or mentoring roles. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively. Experience in behaviour management techniques and strategies for engaging students with special educational needs is advantageous. A commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners' needs.
