31650 - 43607 per annum + Pro Rata

Quantum Scholars are proud to be working with a highly ambitious and committed secondary school in Aylesbury seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to join their team in September 2025. This is a full-time maternity cover position for one academic year.



The ideal candidate would be a more experienced teacher and someone who is ambitious for advancement within Maths and has the ability to support students in developing their numeracy skills.



The school has a strong reputation for academic excellence and provides a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and students. You will be joining a high-performing Mathematics department with a track record of strong results and innovative teaching practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 experience desirable but not essential) Plan and assess learning in line with national curriculum standards Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback Maintain a positive learning environment that fosters student achievement Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings, and CPD opportunities

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school setting Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths Excellent classroom management skills Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities Commitment to upholding the school's high standards and values Must be available to start in September 20205 Must have a Right to Work in the UK!
