Responsibilities:
Deliver personalised mathematics tutoring sessions to students in the Abingdon, Wallingford, Wantage and Didcot areas (and surrounding villages).
Create engaging and effective lesson plans.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain strong, active communication with students, parents and the Alpha Team.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Maths, Education or a related field.
Commitment To Students:
At Alpha we follow the rule that a tutor only leaves a student once the studentis ready, never the other way around! Dedication to helping a student achieve their goals is paramount to us.
Full DBS Check:
You must be able to provide proof of your DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain one.)
Subject Expertise:
Strong understanding of math curriculum and exam boards.
Teaching Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion:
Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
Location:
Ability to travel within the Abingdon, Wallingford, Wantage and Didcot areas (and smaller surrounding villages).
Full Clean Driving License.

Note for Students:
We welcome undergraduate students studying mathematics to apply for tutoring positions. However, due to their level of study, they will only be able to tutor up to GCSE level students.
