We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with students of various ages and backgrounds, providing tailored support in their studies, and promoting confidence in their abilities.
Duties
Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in designated subjects.
Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop personalised learning plans.
Provide clear explanations of concepts and encourage critical thinking.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff regarding progress and challenges.
Create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
Support students with special educational needs by adapting materials and approaches accordingly.
Skills
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a strong understanding of educational methodologies.
Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions.
Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents.
