Want to make a difference in a child's life by passing on a love for maths? We are currently seeking Maths Tutors to work with students to achieve mastery of maths.
You will have previous tutoring or teaching experience and a love of maths. In turn we will teach you the Mathnasium way!
Responsibilities:
Learn and administer Mathnasium curriculum Deliver Mathnasium methodology with confidence and energy Ensure continued student motivation, progression and mastery Execute superior customer service Professionally interact with students and parents Communicate student progress to line manager
Person Specification
Essential
:Previous educational or tutoring experience Right to work in the UK Strong Maths or Higher Education qualification with a mathematical component Exceptional maths skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for working with students Ability to professionally interact with students and parents Energetic, fun and confident personality
We provide extensive, comprehensive and on-going training for the right candidate.
Working hours are in the afternoon: term time hours are 3:30-7:30pm Mon - Friday and 10-2pm Saturday & Sunday. Candidates are expected to take 2-3 shifts per week.
Pay range 8.50-13.50
Part-time hours: 8-24 per week
Please note this role is based in our centre on Northcote Road, a ten minute walk from Clapham Junction.
