Job Description

Able Tutors is a leading tutoring agency based in London. At the moment we are looking for experienced tutors to teach GCSE/KS3/KS2 Maths/English/Science, in-person.

This role needs to be filled urgently as we have jobs that need to be filled

This is a face-to-face position and will involve you teaching on a 1-2-1 basis.

REQUIREMENTS

at least ONE year of recent experience teaching Maths/English/Science (in this country) based in the UK able to travel to Ilford have a relevant degree enhanced DBS clearance or be willing to apply be able to work during and/or after school hours and/or at weekends be able to provide two UK-based references (parents of recent tutees/professional colleagues) The pay is dependent on qualifications and level of tuition required

Responsibilities

Develop and implement tailored lesson plans for GCSE Maths, English, and Science students. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment to encourage student participation. Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding academic performance and areas for improvement. Stay updated on curriculum changes and educational best practices to enhance teaching methods.
