The role is located in the Samsung Networks Europe's (SNE) team of Mission Critical (MCX) Test and Certification. The team is determined to enter the Public Services domain in Europe with our market leading portfolio of products ranging from Device Clients, RAN, Core and MCPTX Application Services.
The Test Manager sits in the Delivery team under the leadership of the Solution Director and plays a key role in SNEs mission as the team who lead the test and certification of our products, meeting customer expectations, contractual achievements and SLAs.

Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
You will lead a team of Test and Verification engineers responsible for defining test strategies and test plans to execute all necessary testing to ensure products are delivered to customers satisfaction and gain approvals for delivery achievements.Creation and Management of MCX Client and MCX Application Test Strategy and Test Plans for all network elements and SW releases. Gaining stakeholder approval and final acceptance for all test and certification results.
Creation and Management of Functional, Performance, Accessibility and Compatibility Test Plans.
Ensure appropriate resources and reporting structures are defined to ensure accurate tracking of test progress within defined project timeline objectives.
Review and validation of all supporting test and product documentation.
Support MCX solution design workshops with Solution colleagues to ensure alignment and visibility of upcoming features and functional changes.
First line management of test engineers, defining objectives, performing interim reviews and appraisals under the mentorship of the Solution Director.
Develop training and development plans for test engineers.
Manage MCX Client verification of Samsung and 3rd party MCX client/SDKs to industry and 3GPP standards.
Collaborate with Solution Managers, Service Managers and PMs to ensure continuity of solution delivery and reporting.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:A comprehensive background knowledge in 4G/5G Core/IMS technologies, in particular Voice/Video and Data services to users and applications.
Extensive expertise of MCX Client applications and SDK solutions running on Android (GMS, Non-GMS and Android Go), iOS, Linux and Windows OS.
Extensive knowledge of LTE and Android test tools such as: GIT, Mobaxterm, QXDM, QCAT, PDC, QPST, QFIL, ELT, Wirshark, Android Studio, Traffic and Load testing tools.
SW lifecycle testing for VNF architecture deployments on VMware
Testing of client SW deployment methods via OTA and EMM.
In depth knowledge of 3GPP specifications, Interfaces and MCX features.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with written and spoken English.
Ability to maintain high standards or work and remain adaptable to changes in a multifaceted working environment.
An Engineering degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecoms or a related field.
Awareness of GCF and other testing standards for client certification
What does success look like?Highly motivated and self driven to manage a team of test experts. Define and deliver all test activities to defined project and Test Plan milestones.
Collaborate with PMO functions to deliver timely updates on project achievements and ensure any risks are categorised and resolved in the appropriate reports.
Develop strong and effective working relationship with customers and partners
