The post holder is responsible for collecting and analysing patient information, from a wide range of systems, to monitor whether patients being treated for cancer are being treated within the target times as well as producing statistical reports for management. The targets must be monitored to ensure that if it is anticipated that they will not be met for any patient, the post holder is responsible for identifying this to the Lead Clinician for the MDT, the Cancer Management team and the relevant operational managers supplying appropriate patient information, and in sufficient time to enable corrective action to be put into place. Once corrective action is agreed, the post-holder will actively participate in the corrective or remedial action, e.g. chasing progress with diagnostic tests or treatment dates.

The service level agreement for the publication of the meeting minutes is one working day.
