Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues or potential problems. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment and manual techniques. Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with other team members to improve operational efficiency and safety practices. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to mechanical work.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive or machinery sector. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous. A valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: 12.50-18.50 per hour
