Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, and tyre rotations. Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace faulty components and systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle or piece of equipment. Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Experience

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with various types of vehicles and machinery is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not mandatory.
