Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and have the ability to diagnose and repair various types of machinery and vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and machinery, ensuring optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Replace or repair faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become serious issues. Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the workshop.

Skills

Proficient in mechanical repairs and maintenance techniques. Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver's licence is preferred; additional qualifications in automotive technology or engineering are advantageous. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
