Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic/ light trim work to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and vehicles are functioning optimally, in the accident repair industry

Duties

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various types of accident damaged vehicles. Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques. Replace or repair defective parts and components as necessary. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not essential A valid driving license is required (max 3 points) must have the ability to repair accident damaged vehicles Ability to carry out a 4 wheel alignment pre and post repair or be willing to learn On site training will also be provided for ADAS calibration etc. A class 2 driving license would be advantages but not essential All extra training will be provided on site Opportunities to progress in the company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
