We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanic to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day mechanical operations, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and efficiency. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with some administrative responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles/machinery to a high standard.
Conduct quality control checks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate service records and inventory of tools and parts.
Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure excellent service delivery.
Stay up to date with industry developments and emerging technologies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as a mechanic, ideally in a busy workshop environment.
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and workshop management software.
Full UK driving licence.
DESIRABLE:
MOT Tester certification.
Experience with hybrid/electric vehicles or specialised machinery.
Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
