We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a passion for problem-solving. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues.
Perform repairs on mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all repair processes.
Keep the workshop clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance skills.
M.O.T Testing Advantageous
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and diagnostic tools.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
A valid driver's license is preferred.
Relevant certifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are advantageous.
