We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic tools and techniques Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken Collaborate with other team members to ensure safety standards are upheld during all operations Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations

Experience

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role within industrial or automotive environments Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic procedures Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively Experience with the use of diagnostic tools and repair equipment is desirable Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Technology are preferred Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: 24,420.00-28,000.00 per year
