About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Mechanic to support the support the activities of the planning and operations department . Key Responsibilities

The Role:


Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including airframe, engine, avionics, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Inspect aircraft and components for wear, damage, or defects in accordance with regulatory requirements Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues and carry out corrective actions Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall aircraft parts and components Conduct functional tests and operational checks after maintenance or repairs Interpret and follow maintenance manuals, technical drawings, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives Accurately document all maintenance activities in aircraft logbooks and maintenance systems Ensure compliance with aviation authority regulations and company procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and flight crews as required Support aircraft on ground operations, including AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations when necessary

Candidate Requirements

Essential:


Proven experience as an aircraft mechanic or maintenance technician Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and safety procedures Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory documentation Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized aircraft maintenance equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Right to Live and Work in the UK
