The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery and equipment across our operations. Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and techniques. Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring minimal downtime. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts utilised. Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment. Collaborate with other team members to optimise operational efficiency. Keep work areas clean and organised to facilitate safe working practices.

Experience

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is preferred. Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are desirable. Experience with diagnostic tools and modern repair techniques is advantageous.
