We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Duties

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment. Diagnose faults accurately and perform necessary repairs promptly. Replace worn or damaged parts using appropriate tools and techniques. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Collaborate with other team members to ensure safety standards are upheld during all maintenance activities. Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades as required. Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components. Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are desirable. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to maintain high standards of operational performance through expert mechanical work.
