We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a passion for problem-solving. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations.
Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools used in vehicle repair.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanics or automotive technology are advantageous.
