Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair various types of machinery and vehicles. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Must be able to do major repairs such as cam belts, clutches, wet belts Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations. Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety standards. Keep the work area clean and organised, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not essential.
