We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify faults or potential issues Diagnose mechanical problems accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment Perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance tasks efficiently to minimise downtime Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as required Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Collaborate with other team members to optimise maintenance schedules and procedures Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe in accordance with company policies

Requirements

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are preferred A valid driving licence is desirable for moving equipment between sites Commitment to safety procedures and continuous professional development
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-50,000.00 per year
