Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawnmower Technician/Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for problem solving. The successful applicant will be responsible for the repair of customer mowers and other mechanical duties throughout the yard, ensuring they are repaired in accordance with health and safety regulations. This role requires both technical skills and excellent customer service abilities to effectively meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance on lawnmowers and mechanical duties on various pieces of equipment and machinery Complete all repairs whilst adhering to safety guidelines. Operate and maintain various equipment and tools. Diagnose and repair equipment issues, utilising mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot problems. Assemble and fabricate lawnmowers as necessary. Read and interpret schematics for equipment repairs. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally. Safely operate forklifts when required for transporting materials or equipment.
Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power equipment related to lawn care. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repairs. Familiarity with electrical systems as they pertain to machinery. Ability to weld and fabricate components as needed for repairs or modifications. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Capability to read schematics for effective troubleshooting of machinery issues. Experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
