The Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Fleet Mechanic to take ownership of maintaining our fleet of 3.5-tonne Luton vans and long wheelbase delivery vehicles. Based at our Old Dalby headquarters, you will ensure our vans are roadworthy, compliant, and ready to support the logistics operations of all three brands.

When fleet demands are quieter, you'll also assist our busy Technical Department with product builds and repairs - meaning no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on delivery vans Diagnose and fix mechanical issues promptly to reduce vehicle downtime Ensure compliance with MOT and DVSA regulations Maintain service schedules and complete accurate maintenance records Liaise with drivers on faults and follow up with timely repairs Provide roadside support where needed Assist with workshop builds and repairs during quieter fleet periods

What You'll Need

Previous mechanic experience (ideally with light commercial vehicles) Strong diagnostic and repair skills A full UK driving licence (clean) Must be aged 25 or over (for insurance coverage) Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
