Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a passion for problem-solving. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tyre rotations. Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are desirable but not essential.

Pay: 16.45-20.00 per hour
