ECO Providers Ltd are a Market Leading Company specialising in Energy Efficient Home Improvements. The business has grown significantly in the last 2 years providing Home Insulation, Heating Upgrades and Renewables.

Working in a new purpose-built office, we offer a professional and personable working environment focused on business and staff development. We are looking to strengthen our operations team with a dedicated and enthusiastic Fleet Mechanic due to continuous growth in the business.

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled and proactive

Fleet Mechanic

to take ownership of our growing fleet of

60+ commercial vehicles

. As part of our mission to deliver sustainable energy solutions across the UK, our vehicles are vital to keeping our teams on the road -- and we need someone who can ensure they stay safe, reliable, and efficient.

You'll be responsible for

maintaining, servicing, repairing, and managing

a diverse fleet, from vans and small commercial vehicles to specialist service units. This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise with organisational skills, playing a key part in supporting our installation and service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out

routine servicing, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs

on company vehicles. Manage and maintain

service schedules, MOTs, and compliance records

for the entire fleet. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues quickly and safely. Work closely with our operations and logistics teams to

minimise vehicle downtime

and support project delivery. Coordinate with external garages, parts suppliers, and vehicle leasing partners when necessary. Keep detailed

maintenance records

and implement continuous improvement processes to enhance fleet reliability and performance. Support the

transition to greener fleet options

, including hybrid and electric vehicles, as part of our sustainability goals.
About You

Qualified mechanic (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent) with proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work across a range of makes and models. Organised and detail-oriented, with experience managing fleet maintenance schedules. Confident working independently and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment. Full UK driving licence. (Desirable) Experience with commercial vehicle fleets and/or eco-friendly vehicle technologies.
