We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing issues and performing repairs on various machinery and vehicles. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and vehicles, contributing to overall efficiency and safety.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake checks, and tyre rotations. Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment. Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not essential. A valid driver's licence is required for this position.
