We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair various types of machinery and vehicles. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment, contributing to overall productivity and performance.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues and malfunctions.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake checks, and tyre rotations.
Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as required.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of work orders.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are an advantage but not essential.
