Job Summary
Established in the 1960's, Curd Brothers is currently recruiting for a full or part-time mechanic to join our small and friendly team.
No heavy work is involved, but the ability to work independently is necessary. If you can diagnose faults, that would be a definite plus but is not essential.
Rates of pay are dependent upon experience.
Responsibilities
To carry out general vehicle maintenance. To fit starter motors. To fit alternators. To fit batteries. Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment. If confident and skilled fitting clutches and cambelts may be included in duties
Experience
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is essential. Used to working independently Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive or mechanical engineering would be an advantage.
It may be necessary to carry out other duties as required by the managing partner.
A full, clean driving licence is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 35,000.00-38,000.00 per year
