We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation. Duties



Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate. Perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance tasks on mechanical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and techniques, providing effective solutions promptly. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimise downtime. Assist in the installation of new machinery and upgrades as required. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience



Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role within industrial or commercial settings. Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is highly desirable. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software used for troubleshooting machinery issues. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in recording maintenance activities. Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering are preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to learn on the job. Pay: 26,121.17-45,402.52 per year
