Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Mechanic to join our dedicated team. the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of vehicles. This position plays a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and quality of our sales vehicles, upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including servicing, oil changes, tyre replacements, and break repairs. Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace defective components, ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards. Complete accurate records of all repairs, services, and maintenance carried out. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure an effective and productive workflow. Adhere to all company health and safety policies and legal regulations.

Experience and Qualifications

Previous experience as a mechanic or in a similar automotive repair role is preferred. Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and repair techniques. Strong problem solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team environment. Relevant qualifications or certificates in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous. A valid full driving licence is essential. Having your own tools is also essential.
