We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, the companies cars and vans. Duties
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic software.
Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring minimal downtime.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs carried out.
Collaborate with other team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required.
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Experience
Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software used in machinery maintenance.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering are desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently at all times.
