Key Responsibilities.

Attending sites and working with the relevant Project Manager in the preparation and submission of applications to the relevant Director/Client.

Attending sites and working with Project Managers in the review of sub-contractor applications prior to producing a payment certificate to the sub-contractor.

Understanding Estimating and Estimating Procedures.

Understanding measured works and drawings.

Understanding Main Contracts and Subcontracts

Contract Administration

Monitor and Review Project valuation cycles both upstream and downstream to ensure timely application submissions and timely certification of subcontractor applications.

Driving value engineering and commercial strategy

What you will bring.

Qualifications and Experience.

Essential

You hold relevant academic qualification in a Construction related degree You Hold a full UK Driving License Prior experience working in a Commercial role for a contractor Experience with a variety of contract forms. Ambitious and self-motivated Scope to develop the role in line with the business' future strategy.

Desirable

MSc Quantity Surveying

Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts Commercially astute, with strong analytical and negotiation skills Strong background in CAT A and CAT B commercial fit out and/or refurbishment
