Overview:
Mechanical Assembler required for a professional and well established manufacturer of bespoke machinery based in Halifax (HX2). The company have a niche and evolving product range and an excellent reputation. This is a great opportunity to be part of a small, long standing company supplying their machines to a wide range of industries.

This role consists of fitting and assembling machinery and sub assemblies. You will be part of a skilled team of both mechanical and electrical assemblers in order to complete jobs in a timely and efficient manner. This role is suitable for those looking for a position that varies day to day, is able to be flexible / multi task and is a team player.

The Role:

Fitting and assembly of bespoke machinery containing: motors, pumps, gearboxes, rollers and bearings Read and work from assembly drawings and Bill of Materials Work to a high level of detail to ensure machines are produced to a quality standard Use various power and hand tools Demonstrate the ability to work independently or as part of a team to support build objectives Comply with company standards regarding health and safety and other company guidelines/policies
Requirements:

Mechanical fitting / assembly experience (desired) Engineering qualification (not essential) Willingness to transfer and learn new skills as required for the role Have good mechanical dexterity
