Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our high-performing team.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will work as part of our production team, focusing on the assembly and preparation of pipeline pigs and associated components. This is a hands-on role involving mechanical fitting, inspection, and final preparation for shipment, contributing directly to the quality and performance of our equipment in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble pipeline pig components, including cups, discs, brushes, and sealing elements Read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate builds Operate hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic presses safely and effectively Conduct functional and visual quality checks to meet Propipe's standards Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to all health and safety protocols Liaise with production, engineering, and the works manager Support packing and shipment preparation of completed products when required
Requirements

Proven experience in mechanical assembly, ideally within the oil & gas or pipeline equipment sectors Competence in reading technical drawings and using measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, durometer, tape measures) High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship Relevant qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: 20,280.00-30,000.00 per year
