We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of components and systems within our warehouse environment, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications.
Duties
- Assemble mechanical components and systems according to detailed specifications and engineering drawings.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area within the warehouse.
- Collaborate and communicate well with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
- Report any issues or discrepancies in materials or assemblies to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly processes.
- Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Be able to work well in cabinet assembly area.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
