Our company is a proven provider of automated test and measurement solutions supporting every stage of the assembly process from component testing to highly complex functional solutions. With over 40 years' experience of innovation in the military, aerospace, medical, rail, automotive, power generation and industrial electronics markets.

As a growing business we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced assembler to join our production team on a full-time basis.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Mechanical Assembly, following detailed drawings using a range of manual and electric tools. Establish assembly operations from parts list, working instructions and drawings. Ensuring that necessary quality and performance checks and tests are carried out during the assembly process. Help to identify areas for improvement in current assembly processes, procedures and workflows. Maintain a safe and clean workshop and adhere to safe working practices.

Enthusiastic and have a positive "can do" attitude. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues. Well organised and tidy, with a good attention to details and the ability to maintain high levels or accuracy. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Proven experience as a mechanical assembler. Ability to work efficiently and to deadlines. Extremely reliable, hardworking and flexible.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour
