Opportunity to join a successful Building Services Consultancy business located in Broadstone, Dorset.

This permanent position is a result of the continued successful expansion of our customer base creating an immediate requirement for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our team.

We are looking for a confident and vibrant individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a sound mathematical background and a keen interest in the design allied to the Construction industry.

The successful candidate would need to be capable of demonstrating drive and self-motivation to successfully deliver projects under your control and provide detailed and coherent designs to the highest standards for our Clients.

the responsibilities of the candidate will include but not be limited to:

Mechanical Engineering Heat Loss Calculations Ventilation and AC Design Co-Ordination with the electrical engineer Sustainable and renewable technologies Building Management Produce Schematics Plant Selection Obtaining quotes and literature from manufacturers
This role will generally involve:

Taking projects from early feasibility stage to project completion Be responsible for the co-ordination of all building services Attend site meetings Complete detailed drawings in Autocad Complete detailed specifications Deal with any CVI's from contractors Producing supporting documentation to aid the design team.
The candidate must have at least 3 years experience within the domestic sector of building services.

The job is generally a mixture of office work and some site work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 50,000.00 per year
