Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical CAD Technician to support the delivery of a wide range of water-sector engineering projects. This hybrid role offers flexibility while requiring 3 days per week in our Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality mechanical CAD drawings and 3D models for water infrastructure projects
• Work closely with engineers and designers to develop accurate, coordinated design solutions
• Support the preparation of technical documentation and project deliverables
• Contribute to design reviews, clash detection, and model coordination activities
• Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with project and industry requirements

Essential Experience & Skills

• Proven experience working within the water industry
• Strong proficiency in Mechanical CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce detailed mechanical drawings
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design workflows

Desirable

• Revit experience
• Autodesk experience
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary design teams

Working Model
