We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical/Commercial Plumbing Engineer to join our team based in Stratford, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, and maintenance of a wide range of plumbing and heating systems in commercial and industrial buildings within our client's premises located in London and the surrounding counties. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain a variety of plumbing and heating systems, including:
o Commercial heating systems (gas, oil, and renewable)
o Underfloor heating systems
o Commercial hot and cold water systems
o Pipework systems (copper, stainless steel, iron, plastic)
o Drainage and waste systems
Maintenance and Servicing:
o Diagnose and repair faults in domestic and commercial mechanical systems,
o Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing and heating systems.
o Respond to emergency call-outs to resolve urgent issues.
o Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out live, by use of CAFM system accessed by PDA .
Carry out site surveys and prepare accurate quotations.
Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, providing advice and guidance
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant qualifications in plumbing and heating engineering (e.g., NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Heating, City & Guilds qualifications) : Essential
Full UK Driving License: Essential
Proven experience in the installation, and maintenance of commercial/industrial mechanical systems plumbing and heating systems. : Essential
In-depth knowledge of building regulations and industry standards (e.g., Building Regulations Part G, BS EN ISO 9001) : Preferred
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills: Essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Essential
Experience in renewable energy technologies (e.g., solar thermal, ground source heat pumps) : Preferred
