About the Opportunity





We are currently seeking to identify talented Mechanical Commissioning Engineers to join us for an immediate mobilisation to one of our commissioning teams in the South of England.



Candidates must either be already BPSS cleared or be able to secure BPSS and SC clearance.



The role:





The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer will be part of a multi discipline commissioning team that will support the project commissioning team leader through the commissioning preparation and execution phases. The commissioning Engineer will:



Ensure Safety is the highest priority on the project with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. He ensures that he is a role model for all aspects of safety, ensuring a proactive approach to nuclear, radiological, conventional and environmental safety


Carry out commissioning preparation, test documents, commissioning test packs and RAMS


Carry out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning


Contribute to the production of test documentation and to the initiation and implementation of FOBs and TQs


Perform testing activities for witnessing by third-parties


Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids


Contribute to the recording of supporting data in accordance with test requirements


Actively drive continuous improvement within the commissioning process and drive progress to meet schedule dead-lines


This position will contribute to development of commissioning plans and manage tasks within the System Commissioning scope of work, which will be further detailed in the Plant test schedule, system Commissioning Plan and the System Acceptance Plan.



Here's What You'll Need:





Ability to perform commissioning work against a project schedule


Experience with completions management systems


Essential Qualifications & Experience:





Preferred HNC/HND in Engineering related subject or route to achieve similar


3 years commissioning in a similar role for either the nuclear industry or another highly regulated industry


Any offer of employment will be strictly subject to the relevant security requirements for the role being met. This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. The security clearance process may require non-British nationals or dual nationals (i.e. those with British and another nationality) to be subject to additional evaluation, depending on nationalities held and the nature of the work to be carried out
